Sensplorer Modbus TCP Software License must be installed for Sensplorer to monitor the devices and sensors supporting Modbus TCP protocol on the network Each of the parameters selected among the addresses on the Modbus address table published by the manufacturer of the devices to be monitored is added to the system as a sensor.
Reading, writing and reading / writing functions via Modbus addresses are all possible if the device allows it.
Warning / Alarm levels can be defined for sensors produced from modbus addresses that provide analog data. For sensors produced from modbus addresses that generate logical (0/1, Yes / No etc.) data, an Alarm status definition is entered.
Monitoring is done with the definitions created over them.
In order to add the device to Sensplorer X / M / S Main Modules, a definition file must be created on the Sensplorer side.
Modbus addresses to be used in this file are defined as sensors. The created sensors can also be assigned to certain groups like other sensors, and rules can be defined over them.
It functions similar in all respects to any Sensplorer sensor.
• Licence to monitor Modbus TCP supporting devices like UPS, HVAC, Energy Analysers, Elektricity meters , PDU , etc…
• Use with Sensplorer X/M/S Base Modules and Sensplorer IOX Management system
• One licence for each device is needed
