The Sensplorer 16-port Sensor Hub Module adds 16-port capacity of which the Sensplorer sensor modules to connect to the Sensplorer X/M/S system.

The Sensplorer 16-port Sensor Hub Module can also be used for reducing cabling from sensors to the Sensplorer base module. It is connected to CAN expansion bus of all Sensplorer Base Modules via CAT5 / 6 UTP cable. The module receives its energy via this UTP connection, no seperate power supply is required

The maximum length of CAN bus can be extended up to 200 meters. The Sensplorer 16-port Sensor Hub Module must be powered with a 12V DC supply. The module provides power to the connected Sensplorer sensor modules.

Sensor Hub Module extends the number of sensors that can be connected to the Sensplorer X/M/S series monitoring system
• Sensor Hub Module has an internal temperature sensor
• Total number of sensors monitored within an Sensplorer base module is limited with respect to specification of Sensplorer Base Module selected. Using SPx-B2016 extends the sensor monitored with a Sensplorer base module up to its total number of sensor limit.
